I mean well even if it seems like I’m being sarcastic. I also love Hyraxes.

I just mean that the system where men are drafted and women are not is just a part of misogyny, and people trying to say men suffer from this is and it’s therefore misandry is wrong.

If anything, wouldn’t it make more sense to call it *misogyny*?

What if everyone jumped at the same time.

Acting like hormones are getting laced with fentanyl and sold on street corners.

For what reason would cis people even argue that transness is a disorder to be diagnosed if not to be able to restrict some from treatment or not?
January 18, 2026 at 11:13 PM
I was (and am) like that as well, but I was quite young at the time and my interest in politics wasn’t very… rigorous or anything.

For me personally, 2016 sort of feels like when I first became really aware of the world in big picture way, not just accepting things as they happened to me.
January 18, 2026 at 11:04 PM
I don’t think a lot of our brains were fully aware of everything then, and 2015-2016 was sort of the last year before everything started to go insane (from some’s perspective.)

I could agree. But now it’s a mess, like always. small minority defending her, large group hating her, and some seemingly unfortunate racism coming from the woman who broke the story.

No worries. And feel no obligation.

I liked her one essay on Nicole Brown Simpson. where would you point someone to start with what you find more useful out of her work?

from the perspective of Canada, China is a more stable trading partner then the USA. And Canada wants to signal that they are moving away from the USA.

Smaller trans woman instagram person and small time writer. Long story short, she claimed to have been threatened by the FBI in a letter which ballooned her following and caused some panic, but it seems that the letter is both fake, and likely faked by herself.

If having a penis is a sin, then call me a sinner.
January 17, 2026 at 7:46 PM
Fair enough! Thats sort of what I recalled. She was sort of in cahoots with proto-terfs but I didn't think she actually said much of anything about transness.
January 17, 2026 at 7:44 PM
And I felt like a fair amount of black trans women were speaking up about how sometimes it feels like white trans women can be quick to side with other white people over other trans women.

I don't have a huge take on it all, but a fair amount of the discourse was more complex then just nonsense.
January 17, 2026 at 7:43 PM
Okay, in fairness, what started that whole debacle on insta was a specific trans woman and some trans men arguing that the the slogan "protect the dolls" was exclusionary to trans men and that trans women don't do enough for trans men.
January 17, 2026 at 7:41 PM
Was the Dworkinator anti-trans? I recall her having mostly nothing to say about it beyond some like "transsexuals disrupt like gay people do" or something like that.
January 17, 2026 at 7:30 PM
What could that phrase even possible mean?

Your writing continues to improve!

I agree on the extent of reaction , but… most replies I saw were primarily just sort of off put by the somewhat mean spirited tone. The indie vs not difference is just that the author isn’t some rich famous person, they’re going to see the review.

But we could’ve just seen different reactions tbf.
January 15, 2026 at 1:58 AM
I think the transwrecks thing just feels sort of mean spirited for indie work.
January 14, 2026 at 10:29 PM
It would also probably be meaningless. If all cis men tomorrow disidentified that would accomplish nothing. rather, any solution to patriarchal violence would have to be systematic as opposed to personal responsibility etc.
January 10, 2026 at 3:43 AM
Sort of is a thing, honestly. There is much arguing and debate about it but some trans women *do* disidentify with cis womanhood and more with trans womanhood as something distinct, for what it’s worth.

(No position, just adding if you were genuinely curious.)
