i think the only game i played that released this year was the new mario party. I haven’t gotten around to Hades 2 or Silent Hill F yet, but i do own them, does that count?

i don’t have enough good things to say about Alien. it’s the movie that marks the start of my fascination with horror media when i watched it for the first time at 16 or 17

i’m not the biggest Cronenberg fan just because body horror makes me particularly squeamish more so than a lot of other horror tropes (i can’t watch the substance at all), but i do love Videodrome and The Fly. The Fly in particular is just so good

the Nosferatu example makes me think of how much i would want a game that more or less blends that with F.E.A.R. a gothic, supernatural horror shooter with good feeling guns, unique alternate weapons (like the cross in Nosferatu), bullet time, and leaning around corners.
