Check out my blog! This post looks at burnt bridges, both literal and figurative, and the uneasy feeling that they leave you with.

I'm always juggling multiple projects. While one is in editing, another is in draft, and if I'm blessed with time, a third in outlining.
When I look at any of these projects, it's for a two hour window. More is great - but that's my minimum chunk of time.
On busy days, that might be all I get.

Providing notes for a friend on a fun feature script. I am still in an edit for my feature. I have lots of little things, so I am moseying through it and enjoying the journey from one puzzle to the next!

Today is all script! I have a few pain points in a family-feature animated script that I'm excited to iron out. I'm waiting on more notes from this draft from my writing sage - but I can fix up a lot while waiting.
This thing is so close I can taste it. SO CLOSE.

The novel's draft is finished! It's done! Bye, draft. You caused me no shortage of pain and took a thousand years.
But we'll grow to love each other.

So today I'm back into script. I have some contrivances to sort out, both big and small. Wish me luck!

Provided notes to a friend on a screenplay - very fun to see his world come alive.

Then it was back to the novel. My goal was end of January, so I'm behind. Lots of writing. I write in two hour sprints when it comes to prose. If I can do more sprints, great. Depends on the schedule and the day!

I like writing the endings. It's satisfying. I have a few chapters left, but they're all climactic and big and emotional and satisfying. That puts some needed wind in the sails.

I've wrestled with this book for far too long. I can't wait to move into edits rather than drafting!

Spent a week working, which was sorely needed to stay alive lol
Now I'm back to writing writing writing. Got some amazing notes on my script - I'll tackle those, but first, I have a novel draft overdue, so it's full speed ahead. Three sprints planned today to get me caught up and cooking with fire!

Today I edited a friend's amazing new project that I'm not allowed to talk about yet. It's looking amazing!
I edited a new draft for a short film with the goal to give it a new layer of storytelling, which of course means, emotion.
And I continued work on the next novel - an hour or two every day!
