I code and break things. Mostly Laravel-based apps - with a touch of Vue.js and some Golang projects.
Awesome! 🤩

I don't get it... what's so hard about that? 😄

I recently used JSON strings with the English sentence as the default for the first time in a somewhat larger project. On the one hand, I found it very pleasant, but I can already see that it will be more complicated if I have to make adjustments in the future.

Oh sorry @forst.dev I completely overlooked the reduction in included traffic in your screenshot.

Still totally worth it and quite a bit cheaper than DigitalOcean, right? The closest you get to the CX22 is like $32/mo dollars at DO (which is 120GB NVME storage vs 40GB, but also only 4TB of included traffic vs 20TB with Hetzner).

I didn't expect it to touch me so much. You have found wonderful words to express the emotional chaos. Wish you and your family all the best.

Also as a Laravel Forge User I recently started to really build a workflow based on this extension. Opening the site on forge via quick access or dispatching a deploy can be quite useful. Sure you could use the CLI for this as well, but to me it even feels more at hand with Raycast.

Install the table plus extension > search databases > search
the db within the connections you stored in tableplus > hit enter to open it in Tableplus.

Maybe it doesn’t sound like much but I really like this workflow.

For me it’s mostly these:

- window management
- Tableplus quick access for databases
- screenshot history / copying them to clipboard
- searching gifs
- controlling Spotify from keyboard

I think for me it was WBB - I was a teenager, had no idea what I was doing, and didn't even know what a code editor was. Windows Notepad all the way.

Wow, same for me. 😅 Which forum software was it?

What has happened again? It's the umpteenth time Twitter/X has died in the last few years. 😅

It's always nice to see a new wave of activity on an alternative platform like this.

Nice 😎

Haha yes! The closing php tag alone felt so wrong when I first saw it.

Where does this come from? Which repo/PR?

Great headline 😅

I love Bruno and the idea behind it. I'm always happy when I see that it's slowly spreading.

It definitely seems like a very niche use case. I'm surprised that something like this made it into the framework, as the numbers helper is macroable, so if you really need it for your app, you could add it yourself.

No worries, it happens to everyone! Glad you figured it out!

That doesn’t sound like much modifications at all. But without actually seeing the code I don’t know how I may be able to help. Could you provide a GitHub repo link?

Surely must be something with the route registration or permissions from the policy.

I agree. I'm always in favor of notifications too. Also, the fact that a plain text version is automatically created, which is so easily forgotten with Mailables, which then frustrates users who block HTML emails, is a top reason for me to always go with notifications when possible.

It seems more likely that it is not due to laravel itself but a usage problem. I think more details are needed to be able to help.

My first instinct was definitely the handle method. I find the syntax expresses the intention a bit more explicitly, and I’d say it's more "typical" in the Laravel context. But However, I’ve never seen or used invokable actions for this use case before. It’s actually a very interesting idea. 🤔
