I've been starting the process of off-lining all of my work for the last few months. Setting up something like Unraid to store all your data is fairly easy, then from there you can just give people direct download links that don't have to go through a 3rd party.

You can also snag 1.5mL or 5mL centrifuge tubes off of amazon for fairly cheap. They have snap tops so you may want to tape them to make sure they stay sealed. The 1.5mL fit the full nib inside but you won't be able to reach the last .5mL. A 5mL will let you get the nib to the very bottom.

"Mostly my age" really throws AC under the bus 😂

The opportunity to go home and write for your childhood team is incredible, especially when they happen to be the Bulls. Enjoy it!

Hell, there were even a couple jump balls in the post season where Dub was going up against a wing or a guard that it was obvious that training on the first tip for 10 or so games made them much more comfortable as a team.

There were a lot of homers that said "This is awful, but" when iHart, Chet, JWill, and KRich were down, because we knew it was going to force some crazy positional mixups. Look at JDub's switch defense; that developed as well as it did because he had to play the 5.

I totally understand; that was the point of the question. He essentially asked, "There are some people who are concerned because of things you've said in the past, how would you alleviate those concerns?" and he went directly into his beliefs around non-violence and institutional goals as Mayor.

No, because again, that's what Cuomo or any politician would want. Otherwise they wouldn't be in politics. Are you really making the argument that you're upset that Colbert isn't platforming him? Also (if you even watched it before raging) did you miss the 5 jokes about him being a predator?
June 24, 2025 at 2:29 PM
This is *such* a disingenuous misrepresentation of what that interview was. Candidates would kill for the opportunity Colbert gave him; to calmly address his biggest political weakness in front of a sympathetic audience and a television audience that is predominately the demo he needs to sway.

You are actually my hero. Why the hell are they just yelling at each other while they've got the Champaign going in the locker room?!
June 23, 2025 at 3:27 AM
Just want to say Chet was the first one to do it, then started yelling at him 😂

lol

He has always struggled with in game adjustments. It has, by far, been his biggest weakness.

Dort completely locked up TJ, then we put Caso on him and he scored on like 5 straight possessions.

I just don't know how you regulate it in much less clear cut instances than something like a concussion. I don't remember seeing what grade of strain he had, but I'd imagine it wasn't a grade 3 strain. I think it'd be hard for the league to rule that a team must bench a player with a grade 2 strain.
June 23, 2025 at 1:08 AM
There are thankfully more stringent rules around concussions & I could understand making an argument for expanding protocols around other serious injuries.

If I think of it as labor vs ownership in some other industry I'm totally on board with you, so there's definitely some bias on my side.

Teams would opt to take the risk too. There is no guarantee to get back to the Finals, let alone a game 7.

If you pull the player you are guaranteeing a what-if. If they play they may or may not be more seriously injured.
June 23, 2025 at 12:53 AM
That's fair. I think my sentiment is better expressed as it has to be totally down to the player to decide to risk it. I think the team should have agency to say "No" but not the power to say "you must."
June 23, 2025 at 12:52 AM
Seriously. No one wants to see that.
June 23, 2025 at 12:48 AM
After OKC lost in 2012 most of us thought that was great experience for the team and we still had an amazing shot at a couple of Championships with that core.

We didn't get back to the finals for 13 years.

It needs to be totally the player's decision, but you can't blame them for taking the risk.
June 23, 2025 at 12:47 AM
Good Lord. I did not manifest this. I wanted a good healthy game. That was awful to watch.
June 23, 2025 at 12:37 AM
You could see the trainer come out and ask and Hali immediately said "I did" while slamming the court. God that is awful.
June 23, 2025 at 12:27 AM
Achilles Tear.

No one wants to hear it or see it.

Yea but we live in the stupidest timeline, where people want the memes instead of reality.
