There have been reports China might add a Uranus flyby component to their Tianwen-4 Jovian mission.

You may find this channel interesting for all aspects of China Space Agency projects. Check out their Xuntian Space Telescope which will be able to dock with the Tiangong space station for maintenance:

China's Plan for a CREWED Lunar Landing in 2029

According to this source:

Timeline indicates an uncrewed verification flight prior to a manned mission. China's sequential approach contrasts with NASA's following cancellation of Project Constellation.
Presentation of Lanyue: China’s Crewed Lunar Lander
China is developing Lanyue, the first lunar lander designed to place taikonauts on the surface of the Moon by 2030.

Test flight of Long March-10A with Mengzhou-1 (boilerplate) planned for 2026. China has had success with the Chang'e series of Lunar landers (including a sample return mission) and Chang'e-7 (Lunar South Pole) later this year will be supported by a Quechiao-2 relay satellite already in lunar orbit.

China is building hardware for a manned lunar landing by the early 2030's. Their approach has the advantage of central planning. Lanyue (Lunar lander) and Mengzhou (Crew/service module) will launch separately on a Long March 10 booster and rendezvous/dock in Lunar orbit.

NATO was built upon an Atlantic Charter drafted by Roosevelt & Churchill which placed (neutral) Island territories in the north Atlantic under their protection.

The first article reads:

' their countries seek no aggrandizement, territorial or other'

The person who now occupies the WH is no FDR.

Interesting. You're lucky to have that skill. I tried to explore the Lot Valley by following the river with a car. Even when close views were obscured by the trees. Then I noticed how many locals had a roof rack with a pair of canoes on top!

Thanks. My recollection of seeing Saumur Chateau and bridge floodlit at night were a very calming sight. When I was further down in the Tarn Gorges canoeing was very popular with the locals. Were you allowed to paddle under Chenonceau.

Always good to see views from the Loire. Do you have any shots of Saumur or the r.Cher down to Château Chenonceau

Thanks for organizing this. Look forward to the 2026 entries.
🔵 In 2025, the NASA/ESA/CSA #Webb Space Telescope found a new moon orbiting Uranus! Called S/2025 U1, it joined the 28 other known moons around the ice giant. Webb’s infrared view also revealed the planet’s rings and atmospheric details in stunning clarity 🧪🔭

That image from the ISS was an amazing capture. This recent post offers a must watch video on Red Sprites as seen from the ground in Western Australia.

My thought exactly. Apart from obvious concerns - as an overseas reader one detail which stands out is the genius of I M Pei's architecture. Colorado is fortunate to host another design masterpiece (by Walter Netsch). The USAF Academy Cadet Chapel.

Not strictly planetary sciences but this image of comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon uploaded in October deserves recognition. Astro photography has a knowledgeable user base here on bsky which is a strength for this site.

This may be of interest. Speculating that the crew will return home via Australia with Latam or Qantas on the South Polar Route and surprised to discover live on FR a China Eastern 777 en-route from Buenos Aires to Auckland ... apparently on its inaugural flight.

Quick update. Reasonably sure the image was sourced from an account we both follow here on bsky, however, cannot establish in the time available today when the original was uploaded in higher resolution. Maybe send a line by direct message?
