15 years ago, I took a pay cut to get a job after I was laid off during the financial crisis of 08. It took me 2 years to get a credible interview. It took me a 10yrs to make that up. My annual pay incr. is 1-2%. Every now and then it has been higher but only because at one point I got a promotion.

It’s the “walk to a grocery store” that’s the problem here. We don’t have this in the US. What I like about the UK is that they have, let’s just say, Tesco, but also Tesco Express, smaller stores all around. So at least there is some access to walkable groceries.

I am not entitled. Just logical. An institution like a museum needs to plan for the least common denominator. I have been to hundreds of museums and palaces around the world. All of them had signs or ropes instructing people not to touch or sit.
