I would love to work full time still but it's dangerous for my wife to be gone for hours on end. I'm a full time carer now on 83 a week and do 80+ hours a week doing everything for her. If I was not there then someone on 500 a week would have to look after my wife.

Turn 50 next month and have both been working since the age of 12 so have both paid into the system. My wife literally cannot do anything for herself apart from making phone calls.
