If you can believe it I fell so hard I've used a cane outside of the house every day since this happened!! Part of why it's hard to work at the rate I'd like to--Can't carry my tablet and walk at the same time when I'm supporting myself with a cane.
Positive part of this though: I look very cool

Alright update is we gotta stay on hiatus for a little longer! I did intend to update but I slipped and fell really hard in the rain and hurt myself so now I’m just taking it slow and working on college stuff! Hope you understand :)

Waiting for some free time to work and update again, but I’m in the mood to share some sketches! This is Brendan, he’ll be in ch1! He likes music and smokes weed. He’s considered an all around pretty cool, fun guy, which is why these sketches are of him being mostly unhappy. Wanted to branch out.

I crashed last week after 4 days of difficult walking in a row so I forgot to post a second page!! And I also forgot what day it was and posted on a Monday . But I’m getting into the groove of things and I’ll have one up tomorrow haha

I know my handwriting is rough sometimes it’s on purpose like the character with the green text bc they are like that in general but sometimes I hope you can at least use the alt text and I’ll probably revise some of these speech bubbles when I’m more experienced haha ;;

Fun fact: I use a lot of Barbies as pose references and then I have Very loose doodles for thumbnails

Bad news: While styling a doll’s hair I broke my thumb brace and have to use an ill-fitted one for the time being to avoid dislocating my thumb! That means drawing is harder!
Good news: I ordered properly sized sets for both hands, meaning I will be unstoppable. Maybe I’ll even knit again.

Oh this is me. The replacement pens and nibs for my tablet are so expensive but the nib is loose and I believe my sister accidentally threw away the free replacements because I forgot to take the packaging trash out of the car, so every now and then I cry really hard because I lost the only nib.

I have inked coloured and rendered the entire rest of Atomic and the title pages of Chapter one !!!! Again when Atomic ends I intend to take a hiatus to work on sketching chapter one—I have some thumbnail pages but nothing quite as “page to screen” as my sketches for Atomic!
Good news I slept for four hours which is an improvement from the eleven hours I have been averaging!! I cannot promise two pages this week but I have one finished and one inked and flat coloured so if we’re lucky !!!

I just made a colouring mistake so bad I almost rendered this character’s entire visual aesthetic meaningless . I’ve not drawn her at night yet but her entire thing was almost eradicated … I’m so sorry Ramona …

I have a notebook of outlining for the story and dialogue of the comic and I mark down the songs that set the tone of each piece as I reach them. There are some bits that are outdated, but it’s hefty. Anyway, sometimes songs have very long titles, and I clearly get salty about that hahaha
