Dr Tongue introduced the film with a speech explaining the developments of the federal and state law. After the screening, centre members discussed core issues in the film, through feminist, queer, and other critical legal approaches.

This conference aims to consider socioeconomic rights in the UK, including rights to a healthy environment and rights of future generations, and future directions for research, including global threats and challenges like migration due to climate change, pandemics, and antimicrobial resistance.
