Repubs in the House voted 70+ times to repeal the ACA starting in 2011. It's been 14 years and neither Trump, Republican senators or representatives have offered an alternative.

Bottom line: they just want to kill low cost health care and don't give a shit if 44+ million Americans lose health care.

Tom Nichols is in no way a lefty. His retorts can be quite acerbic and I occasionally disagree with him. But I thoroughly enjoyed his last book (The Death of Expertise) and think it should be required reading.

Actually high school. I heard on the news how when he matriculated to high school, he told his former best friend, a Latino, that they could no longer be friends because of his race.
