• Velocidrome died in a boss fight because of my own mistake
• Arzuros wasn’t actually an eligible encounter so I released it
• Hatched a red Khezu egg though!

Getting my ass beat (as intended) but man this game rocks. Visuals are awesome, movement is super high octane, narrative bits have been fleshed out, Fennel's ass is fat. Only a little over an hour but I like this so far

Rolled credits on Z-A today. More detailed review on Backloggd later this week, but overall, I had a pretty fun time :)

I read a few different reviews this morning (GI, IGN, VGC), and while the common sentiment is that the story is meh but the gameplay is cool, I can't help but feel a tad irritated when I read this part from the IGN review. Maybe I'm just looking back with rose-tinted glasses, but this feels shallow.

I haven't talked about it much yet, but Z-A has been very fun and absolutely distracted me for the past few days. One of my favorite things so far is changing into a hat, glasses, and trenchcoat, and pretending to be a detective when I do side missions.

Ik it's literally right at the beginning, but there's something about this that really gets my attention. Maybe it's just grad school brain but the idea of a gaming "syllabus" to help act as a pathway for thoughts is cool.

We ended up just doing a test stream to make sure everything worked, but you guys would not BELIEVE how good Silksong feels on this thing. Only played for 30ish minutes and had to remember where 'up' was sometimes, but man it felt great.

I started playing Coffee Talk as my pass-the-time game, and I can't get over this face that Freya makes any time something mildly upsetting happens. It's like she just watched somebody get hit by a car. She looks like she's in so much pain and it's so jarringly hilarious.

Started Lies of P to get back into streaming. Perfect Guards are already rewarding, but the fact that they can break weapons (including boss weapons) is SO cool.
