I saw the surgeon on Thursday to check on my broken arm, so here is a less horrible view of the plate that has been implanted to align the ulna.
Things are going well. I have a removable cast now that I can take off for showers, and I can use my arm for typing/light tasks. Roughly 4 weeks to go!

I used to work at the American Academy of Pediatrics, and back in those halcyon days we assumed that regardless of ideology, everyone cared about chuldren.
AAP learned this week that seven grants to AAP under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services are being terminated. The sudden withdrawal of these funds will directly impact and potentially harm infants, children, youth, and their families.
