The “812” in the name comes from the engine’s size and layout—it’s an 8.0-liter V12. The “Superfast” part is a nod to the classic Ferrari 500 Superfast from the 1960s.

The Koenigsegg Jesko is named after Jesko von Koenigsegg, the father of the company’s founder.

Like other Koenigsegg cars, the Jesko has the brand’s signature doors that open with a cool, rotating motion (dihedral synchro-helix) making it stand out from regular car doors.
