Hamid and his work on international economics, market power, macro-labor and firm dynamics are a great addition to our research community and yet another opportunity for our graduate students to learn about frontier topics and methods in international economics.

International economics at NC State and in the Triangle keeps growing. We are very happy to announce that @firooz_hamid (sites.google.com/view/hamidfiro… ) will join the Economics Department at NC State as an assistant professor.
