We fight for what is ours: our sense of self, our truth. And we don’t let anyone take that away.

We don’t give away our self-respect to people who were never looking to understand us. We hold our ground.

Through our experiences, we gain insight into our values. We learn who we are, what matters, and what we will no longer apologise for.

We move forward. We appreciate the “haves” in our lives, not the “have-nots.” We focus on what supports us, not what drains us.

The judgments of those who don’t understand your experience are not worth carrying as shame. Their misunderstanding does not define you.

To all those who are socially isolated or hurt by how others treat you, especially when it’s based on things you can’t control, you are more than what people see. Truly. People’s ideas about you are never the full story.

Becoming is an ongoing process, rather than a fixed state of arrival. Life is not a finished product; it is a living process that unfolds through awareness and contact with the present moment.

Awareness begins with ourselves. Not in blame, but in presence, seeing how our mind, feelings, and actions shape connection. When we notice rather than avoid choosing curiosity over judgment and care for each other’s experience, we create vitality, choice, and shared life.

When fragmented between the real and imaginary, how easy reality can be constructed and little is needed to be caught in ones own mind without much of a real point of reference. We are separate from the world trapped in representations.

When we’re overwhelmed or not fully ourselves, for whatever reason, others can project meaning into what we do. It's hard regardless, but harder when we dont give ourselves acknowledgement and consideration. If an experience is hard to translate, that's fine.

One of the biggest challenges that comes with being ND is having a wider gap towards understanding. Even with other NDs. So much of communication is interconnected with other factors.

So much of life is relational. We are our environment in a lot of ways. But our internal world can't be reduced to their perception. I choose and affirm myself regardless of what others see, but I make peace with my social condition.

I wonder how common awareness of communication concepts like perspective, interpretation, signs and meaning-making, and how they are coordinated in relational dynamics actually is. It can seem obvious to be aware of these things, but my interactions suggest otherwise.

I've been thinking about the term "high-functioning" and how it implies a type of judgement. If you're noticed to have challenges, this will impact someone in a greater way, but it encourages silence and masking and can't be the best way to frame masking. I wonder what could be a better worded term?

It makes me wonder what this new social gaze we exist in. How do we understand it.

Environments have their own symbolic orders, language norms, status cues, and power dynamics. Anonymity or visibility, likes or silence, all become part of how one's voice is interpreted. Amplify certain traits, and marginalize others.

Navigate the world with an awareness of how one is perceived, what is visible in a particular setting. What is invisible to others. What does one anticipate. What is one to be cautious of. What does one feel pressure to do. What is the social expectation.

Interesting to think about the intersection of identity, social frameworks, and perception. How different factors inform shared social frameworks, inform our perceptions, inform communication. The different layers, and how they morph to a distinct shape.

Now on a new platform, I think about a few things. The feeling of connection, what it makes me aware of, what will come from it, my identity, how does it shape my path.
