Slinger just starts slingin’ (heh) her around his body like those ripped flamenco dancers do.

Without any music.

Let’s be real; they’re not waiting for anyone to leave :^)

As a bit of a curveball, my first fanfic was Animal Crossing related thanks to Chuggaaconroy at the time; a fun factoid.

It’s interesting to me!!!!

I don’t even remember what got me into Tenjho Tenge in middle school.

All I distinct remember is laggily streaming it off a dollar store Android tablet over a decade ago and getting hooked.

If “Oh! great” wasn’t the one drawing it, I doubt it would’ve ever finished lmao.

I meant the Babylonians as a whole.

My thinking was not everyone can be a Rogue, but the Babylonians are split up across the whole world.

So the Rogues are the faster birds of prey while other parts of Babylonian society are the “slower” birds.

Does that make sense?

What do you think @gemlik-rogue.bsky.social

The Babylon Rogues we know are largely birds of prey (swallows don’t *really* count, but they swoop flying insects, so I’m lumping them in).

Who’s to say the other tribes/chapters haven’t bred or taken characteristics from other types of birds?

Interesting stuff to consider.

I appreciate how fast the king pivoted from being excited to having a son to marrying off his daughter to get another son.

“Fuck it. Change of plans.”

That trans-inclusory-radical-misogyny.

How’s he gonna play with those big ol’ mitts?

This whole thread leaves out how the Key also needed the Emeralds for some godforsaken reason, meaning they used them, didn’t hang onto them, and completely forgot to pass down that bit of knowledge for future generations.

Or it was lost in the attic; who knows?

Time is real funny like that.

It probably would’ve gone better if it didn’t take thousands of years lol.

Plenty of time for a belief-system drift to occur and turn their cosmic misfortune into the act of a wrathful god.

Still a fun thought experiment into how that happened, but we’ll never know. 6/end

The “Key to Babylon” wasn’t meant to *just* find the Babylon Garden; it was also what sealed it down there to begin with.

Hide away the Arks and the spaceship until the time was right, and then activate it all when it was time to go home.

Not a bad plan on its face but… 5/?

But then the Arks fell and suddenly there was a chance they could go home.

They couldn’t let just anyone grab their stuff though, so, like the inscription at Gigan Rocks said, they sealed away the Ark that fell there and the one at Crimson Crater.

Which also implies… 4/?

Babylon Garden had to be above ground for Stolen (Rogue at the end of Riders 1) to store the Magic Carpet away.

Which would make sense considering it was basically an inert piece of machinery by that point.

Good place for safekeeping, but not much else. 3/?

It wasn’t until two of them touched down ages later that it was even an idea for the Babylonians to go back home.

But by that point, the whole thing with their founding myth was mythologized.

In between the crash landing and the first meteorite, they created Extreme Gear. 2/?
