After Friday games, Mavs still in best spot to be the Wild Card team from the West for knockout stage of the NBA Cup. Last group game on Tues vs Grizz. Mavs need a win & maintain best point differential among any one loss teams who finish 2nd in their group. They have that right now by a lot at +41.
