My dad is MAGA and obviously everyone here knows I fucking hate Trump. I'm very critical of Chappell's both sidesism during the election but just because her uncle is a Republican doesn't mean she's a secret Trump supporter. Some people can grow up to have different beliefs from their parents

I've also been really liking what I've been seeing from Beshear! The fact that a progressive politician like him was elected in deep red Kentucky is proof that this is the direction the Democrats should take if they want any chance of success

Thankfully 2028 is still 3 years away so I think there's still enough time for Democrats to get their shit together. I think the rise of progressive politicians like Zohran Mamdami and Kat Abughazaleh could be an indicator of that.

If Newsom is our nominee I am going to be insanely disappointed. I usually vote blue no matter who but if he is our nominee in 2028 that would be the closest I would ever feel to wanting to sit out. This man has thrown LGBTQ+ people under the bus numerous times and I just can't trust him
