Incredibly proud to be a part of this amazing and ambitious collaboration and looking forward to putting all of the data together and exploring the results in the coming months!

Yesterday was the last day of data collection for our scarlet monkeyflower project involving a resurrection study in 3 latitudinally arrayed common gardens. With tons of support from family, friends, and colleagues along the way, the literal seeds of this project developed in 2010.

Hi #evol2025, our paper came out yesterday and I'd love to chat about it. We used an underused tool for studying parasite local adaptation, the Host Reciprocal Transplant, to study switchgrass and its fungal rust.

🚨New preprint! I conducted a large field experiment with @evoecolab.bsky.social and Nic Kooyers, manipulating precipitation and herbivory in Ontario and Louisiana to study effects on ☘️. Wrapping my head around the complex results was an adventure, so I'm excited to hear what others think. Pls share!

Earlier this week at the oCUBE Unconference, I gave my first ever pedagogical presentation, on causes and consequences of high school grade inflation for undergrads. I think it went well, but also definitely still learning in the teaching realm, so please reach out if want to chat #HigherEd with me!
