no AI here, just a silly wire and foam puppet painstakingly animated by hand!

Love it! back in the 90's my dad bought me this small Ray Bradbury book, and that story is in there : )

thank you! I'm horrible at taking process pictures, but the body is wire and upholstery foam for the "muscles" (you can see it better on this pic). the "skin" was just very thin foam with liquid latex dabbed on top. the head has a 3D printed skull, and I sculpted with airdry clay on top of that

Here's a T. Rex bored to death trying to bite their own tail. My partner asked me to animate it in stop motion, after she watched a video about the very important topic of "could T. Rex chew its own tail like a dog". The puppet is still a work in progress 🦖

Some more T.rex stop motion practice after work. It was getting late and I had no clue how to end the shot, so.. "Boop"

The winder rig in the backgroung is from Kinetic Armatures

Here's a quick T. rex stop motion test I did yesterday, with a puppet I've made. I wanted to animate more, but I bumped into the camera 🙄

The puppet is made of wire and foam for the body. The head is made of a 3D print skull by Vitamin Imagination, and the "skin" is just unbaked sculpey

Here's an older test with just the armature : )

Thanks dude!! Here's some pics I took just for you. Please don't mind the months old foam buildup that I have never finished

May I offer some dinosaur Stop Motion animation for your timeline

I didn't follow any specific reference, it was an exercise of "let's see where this takes me". I saw some ducks scratching their heads so I had to animate it here

When a T. rex is not stomping, shaking their heads and roaring, they are just like us. And cats.

Animation by me. T. rex model by Herschel Hoffmeyer.

Hey all! I'm Lucas, an Animator at Industrial Light & Magic, and here's a few of the things I got to animate in the past few years. Hopefully I'll post more personal work here as well (stop motion, anyone?). #animation #vfx #starwars #godzilla #kong
