In the recent years, public interest has been raised toward that curious activity of swinging hands in front of a variously sized ensemble of musicians and showing the back to an hopefully larger audience. Whilst lots have been written I'd like to share my experience.
I love rehearsals.
Both as instrumentalist or as conductor or as observer: rehearsals are melting pots of Art that as soon as it is created it disappears but remains in the soul of the people who experienced it. I am always amazed by participating at rehearsal, and grateful.
