going to catholic school is so crazy because there is no way to distinguish bible parables taught in school you accepted as Real Things That Happened from actual historical facts you learned at 10 years old…
anyway i just found out the Tower of Babel wasn’t real and i’m crushed :(

Hello BlueSky! Never posted before…. my friend sent me the document for the new gov. budget that passed, so I thought I’d share my excel analysis.

Charts: Min. spending decr. v. Max. spending inc. & what the functions of each thing being funded (or defunded) are.
minimum funding decrease vs. maximum budget increase by committee (department). Results show overall increase of $3.3 trillion, with -$1.5 trillion being cut, and +$4.8 trillion of expenditure added. Committee functions arranged by decrease or increase in funding. Departments for Agriculture, Education, Energy, Financial Services, Natural Resources, Oversight & Reform, and Transportation & Infrastructure received decreased funding, while departments for Armed Services, Homeland Security, and Way & Means received increased funding.
