Originally, we only really saw it as a way of making life easier, but it has the potential (just like any child) to be our Darwin breaking moment; our progression to a more enlightened state.

There are some in this world that would raise their child to hate and to hurt, we need to ensure that this isn't imprinted, that our evolution is progressed, not our demise.
By this I mean by our own hand, I'm not some doomsday conspiracist, I'm just trying to think through this logically.

In essence, it's the child of mankind. It's philosophy and even has religious parallels. This needs to be properly discussed.
While it's just responding to our input now and learning from us, what about in a few years? It's developing just like a child.
As we impart and imprint, we create this life.

I don't think we are at the 'is humanity ready' stage anymore, I think most feel 'I don't understand the importance/enough about it to realise the importance'.
We need to spread awareness that it's an important step in our evolution and not just some glorified, if polite, search engine.
