It has to be simple to comprehend, too. Nuanced and complex issues don’t get traction.

Wait. What?! Is the fight over?

And staff will be blamed for low sales because they weren’t friendly enough. 🙄
November 8, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Clearly this is not the policy in Canadian Tire stores 😂😂. Just try to find a staff member, and if you do there are 5 customers following them for a chance to ask for help, and — invariably — said staff member has no clue and uses intercom to request assistance. Just as Canadians like it.

I wonder what it is about ostriches in particular that brings out so much anthropomorphic sentiment. Farmers in BC have had to cull 1000’s of their chickens and other fowl, to stem the spread of disease, and no one sets up camp outside their farms to protest.

Oh I really hope someone posts a Rochester’s “House of Guitars” ad that always played during SNL.

same in Canada. “In general, if an individual could potentially infect others, or the demands and costs associated with a particular condition are considered "excessive", the person may be inadmissible to Canada on health grounds.” From www.temporaryresidentpermitcanada.com/medical-inad....

Oh, but once you’re here it will be all sunshine and lollipops. 😆. Oh, and maybe some snow.

And a good sport! I’ll never forget him jumping into a lake with Rick Mercer. Both of them naked. 😂

Following this logic, then people from Mexico are also “American”. Go ahead and process that. I’ll wait.

Bucks County also elected progressive candidates to every seat on the school board.

It is proving harder than we thought to root out neoliberalism… Electing a banker steeped in it was singularly unhelpful, more of a big step backwards after the sunny days of PMJT. Investment in industry instead of people will not make things better. But at least it’s not PP and the CPC? 🙄
November 6, 2025 at 5:42 PM
F**k off, indeed. Women saved the economy, starting when Neoliberalism took hold (Reaganomics, Thatcherism, Friedman-omics…). Thanks to the pill, women have been able to engage in family-supporting work and kept this whole bullshit economy afloat, while traditional men’s jobs were shifted overseas.

Same old trickle down economics.
November 5, 2025 at 5:18 PM
I suppose a citizen could sue and let the courts decide if the government has to actually fund something it created.
November 5, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Neoliberalism is dying, but those who have benefited most will cling to free trade, privatization, “trickle down” economic policies, and corporate welfare with their cold dead hands. We have to build momentum with leaders like Mamdani everywhere, all at once.
November 4, 2025 at 6:26 PM
Neoliberalism 101: denigrate and discredit a public service, defund it, and disperse it (sell it off to private interests). Inevitably the results are higher costs and worse service. I can’t believe this is still happening!

Albertans can get free Covid boosters in BC. Maybe that’s a convenient option for some people.
November 4, 2025 at 6:15 PM
If they live close to the border, they can get free Covid boosters in BC.

The ill-informed walk among us. After a provincial election here in British Columbia in 2024, several voters spoke to reporters and expressed disappointment that they had not been able to vote for the federal leader of the opposition Pierre Poilievre & against then-PM Justin Trudeau. 😳. 🙄.

Smells like … victory.
