I’m past the halfway point on my sock yarn Clapotis, first I’ve ever made even though I was knitting when it came out.

Also, embroidering up a ton of Yarn Ball disks to make sure my recommendations are in point.

I’ve had so much fun the last few weeks using up yarn scraps from one of my favorite projects to embroider yarn balls. Needs less that 10 yards of light fingering to DK weight!

I’m working on my first Clapotis, I remember when it was originally released and never made one then. I love that @knitty.com re-released it for the 20th anniversary. 🧶

I may work more on the embroidery stitch disk patterns later. 🪡🧵

My blue sky went all sorts of beautiful evening shades of glowing reds, pinks, and purples before I could check in today. Guess that means it’s been a beautifully productive day working on embroidery kits!

Finally found my logo for socials, so exchanged the headshot back out. 💛 So that my account isn't faceless, here's my face and some of the things I make.

I found a great space for teaching private lessons and workshops earlier this week.

Today I found my old materials for a workshop I taught on swatching and yarn substitutions.

I’m SO EXCITED to rework the material and BRING THIS BACK! 🤩 🧶

Good morning! What creative pursuit are you going to do today?

I got a new camera and am going to work on product photography today. 🧵🧶📸

I learned my lesson on this one, it was a struggle to get him to wear it! I stuck to hats after that, those got used much better.

Sweater update: it had a weird lump in the back of the yoke and was too wide in the neck. Ripped the entire thing back (that was hard) and re-worked it in under 24 hours (amazing, tbh). Much improved! Now to finish it!

Yesterday was my birthday, and I took the day off to crochet my heart out on a sweater. Love top down! 🧶

Yes the tree is still up. Christmas ended Jan 5 (seriously, that’s a thing) and I keep the tree up through my birthday weekend. 😉

I’ll get back to embroidery and stash pieces soon.
