The number of Linnet on the patch had grown to c.150 this afternoon, with probably a good few more. Also Stonechat pair still

This morning's visit to the patch produced a Woodcock (flushed from the woodland edge and a patch ✔️), Lapwing, a pair of Stonechat, single Chiffchaff and increasing numbers of Chaffinch

A lovely lunchtime walk around the patch today produced 3 Stonechat, an expected but very welcome patch ✔

This Pale Tussock in the front garden today was lovely to see

Could anyone please identify this very large caterpillar? Was thinking a hawk-moth of some kind

I wasn't expecting to find an Eel this afternoon, a nice welcome back to the patch having not visited in two months
