i don’t think it’s particularly helpful split hairs over a word just because you don’t think it is completely perfect or is tarring you with some kind of brush when the substance speaks to it

a lot of people didn't want to look at the massive web of manosphere content because it's bleak and expansive and, honestly, mostly gutter content that is boring to wade through. but there are reporters who *do* care to do that and we laid them off en masse as the internet became a wild west
