i personally went with the aranet 4, because of its good battery life & high portability (taking it with me to work)

if you wfh and don’t need the portability, some of the others might be better for you

i often get headaches when i sit at my pc working for long hours, always attributed it to not drinking enough water, but i’m sure most of them actually were cuz i didn’t open the window enough

to think how much time we spend in environments with way too much co2 and don’t even notice anymore cuz we got so used to it, kinda wild

i got a portable co2 monitor a couple days ago, and so many times already i’ve walked into a room, thought it’s nice and fresh, then checked the monitor and it was almost always above 1500ppm

you can't "just run it on existing, disused rails" either-
those rails often times have gaps that have been torn out, those would need to be rebuilt
the track needs to be maintained,
and road crossings need to be secured.

if you've done all of that, just run a proper train down the line.

the railway they're testing the pods on is currently in the planning phase of being rebuilt & electrified, with a single dutch town that already destroyed the rails being against it (yay nimby'ism)

i just hate how it locks me into this country, i'd essentially have to start from scratch or do sth else entirely (...from scratch), if i ever wanna leave this country (or do wfh), both i kinda wanna do in the long run

even amazing games like cyberpunk i just...stop playing after a couple days, i can't even tell you why exactly. i really like cyberpunk and i wanna actually properly play it through, but ugh

games where you can build stuff are essentially the only games i continue to play for long hours and for days on end (especially if they have trains lololol)

i guess that's why i like doing world dev in vrchat heh
