I've never grown peppers before. Only one flower set fruit (do they need hand fertilising?) but this one has been a source of fascination. Small and green at first, then large and green, before cycling through purple, red, and now traces of yellow are appearing. #ukGardening

Oxalis in a newly-planted trough. All those watering-can refills were worth it. There's actually a bit of rain forecast for tonight.

I finally managed to capture an ornamental cherry on a windy day! It doesn't seem five minutes since this tree in Church Litten Park in Newport on the Isle of Wight, UK was a mass of frothy, pale pink Blossom.

The front garden at the new house throws up more surprises. This is wild yellow wood sorrel. Some might consider it a weed, but I like it, so it's staying.

Just moved into an old house and found a very neglected wisteria. It's now in the process of getting a hard prune. I know it's a bit late in the year for pruning, but we can't leave it like that, it's taking over the neighbour's gardens as well. #ukGardening
