I'm not exactly sure whether the situation in the neoliberalism-devastated Western 'liberal democracies' is actually so bad that it justifies completely reckless, short-sighted and self-defeatibg policies and choices, going for short-term gains with long term risk-cumulation.

Although the causes aee complex, one thing that comes to me when talking to Ukrainian friends is that having been used for decades to thinking that accountants are the best people to master the arts of politics and war, I find it pretty inevitable to finding how wrong that assumption is the hard way
