Reread, reloved. What a fantastic fucking comic and what a treat to get to experience it as it’s happening. @denizcamp.bsky.social keeps it heartfelt and small among all of the weird and big. @stipanmorian.bsky.social cartoons the hell out of everything. Hollingsworth and Otsmane-Elhaou are perfect.

*Little* late to the party, but Bitch Planet is fucking excellent.
@kellysue.bsky.social crafts an instantly-recognizable world, clever dialogue, and a beautiful rumination on intersectionality. @vdelandro.bsky.social nails every complicated panel. @claytoncowles.bsky.social is brilliant as ever.

Stole something from work today...
@denizcamp.bsky.social @stipanmorian.bsky.social

So, so excited for this book and the journey we’ll be going on with it. Vertigo being back—and being good—means more than I knew it would:)

The colors are good enough to pull all six issues, but thankfully @davechisholmcomics.com also includes gorgeous pencils and a fascinating story. A surreal-adjacent look at surveillance and mega corps, I loved these first two issues. My kinda comics. FOC in a few weeks, you should give it a shot!

Open the spine of your Understanding Comics, wrap them around the importance of caring for unhoused folks, and include a deep love of old (romance) comics.
Or just read this issue.
@denizcamp.bsky.social and @ericxyz.bsky.social nail it. I cannot believe I loved this issue as much as I did.

@tatebrombal.bsky.social and @thatjacobphillips.bsky.social,
congratulations and thank you! What a wonderful ending to a wonderful work.
I went in on a great team and a perfect premise and came out a fan of a genre I thought wasn’t for me.
A top three book of 2025 and a trade that I’ll push forever.

@denizcamp.bsky.social and @stipanmorian.bsky.social are another dream team. Camp’s work is always amazing, and this might be my favorite debut issue from him. This is what Vertigo is, to me. This is my kind of comics. On FOC this week and everyone should be giving it a shot. PERFECT cliffhanger.

@christophcondon.bsky.social and @thatjacobphillips.bsky.social, man. Just a dream team. There’s so much heart and energy to this book, a mystery wrapped in complexities. An instantly recognizable, noir hero who’s also entirely his own. And Gods and Stuff! Cannot, cannot wait to see what’s coming!
January 17, 2026 at 8:48 PM
@thekylestarks.bsky.social and @stevepugh.bsky.social bring the funny and violence. For me this was a really great meditation on The Worst Person Ever and who that may be, and how they may even be a little likable. Really enjoyed the comedy and character, can’t wait to see where it goes!
January 17, 2026 at 8:46 PM
Finally got to read @zoethorogood.bsky.social’s first work, which is as charming as it is human. You can truly feel the change in Billie over the course of the story, you’re right there with her from beginning to end. Made me laugh and jealous I didn’t come up with some of the lines. Very good stuff

Everything I read/reread over winter break, excluding my weekly stuff. Roughly 4750 pages of comics goodness!
January 5, 2026 at 4:39 AM
Finally was able to read
@christophcondon.bsky.social and @gegeschall.bsky.social’s FAR DOWN BELOW, which is just a blast and a half. A fun, adventurous look at childhood and friendship that lets people be who they are. It’s got a TON of heart, gorgeous art, and so much character in a tight story

@tatebrombal.bsky.social and @ghwalta.bsky.social just FLOORED me with this work. Absolutely gorgeous humanity depicted by the whole team, a great message and use of metaphor. Brilliantly structured. Learned a lot as a reader, writer, and person. It has my highest of recommendations, go read it!

Constantly amazed by what @christophcondon.bsky.social and Montos are able to fit into 20 pages. Absolutely loved the violent personification of addiction, the messaging of how to survive it. Some really wonderful moments in this issue—of character and action. Next month’s going to be bittersweet.

My WHOLE feed today is Vertigo love and I am so, so excited for all of these books (and all of the ones coming). The best creative teams in the industry coming together under a banner that means “creative” and “make damn good comics”. I will not be shutting up about this.

@tatebrombal.bsky.social @thatjacobphillips.bsky.social @pipmartin.bsky.social and @adityab.net are three for three on this series. Wonderful characters doing horrible things for wonderful reasons. One of my favorite series right now, just compelling as hell and so beautiful. Check it out!!

What a fucking wonderful ride, twelve issues of perfect Batman. It’s been an absolute pleasure enjoying this book for the last year. Thank you,

@denizcamp.bsky.social, @ericxyz.bsky.social, Jordie Bellaire, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou are the modern comics dream team. Everyone is firing on all cylinders, topping the game of their aspect of the medium and coming together to create perfect comic books.
This issue was well, well worth the wait!

Just finished rereading this masterclass. A perfect creative team at the top of their game, delivering damn good comics. @christophcondon.bsky.social shows exactly who Ollie is while interrogating the superhero’s impossible mission. Montos nails each page. Lucas and Hassan couldn’t have done better.

My favorite of @muaadib.bsky.social’s covers for the book so far, this issue of GA houses all of the best parts of this run: inventive, cinematic storytelling and wonderful characterizations. @christophcondon.bsky.social hits another bullseye in this story of life after trauma, growth, and family

I’ve never gotten to experience Vertigo on the monthly, but its legacy, influence, and Berger’s work have had a profound influence on the creators and comics I love. Perhaps more than anything else.
This talent they’ve grabbed is impeccable, the best creators of the most creative moment in a decade.
October 10, 2025 at 8:55 PM
I can’t believe that for nearly a year @danpgwatters.bsky.social and @cleanlined.bsky.social have been giving us this Bible of a Batman book. It’s just perfect, and this final arc is reframing everything that came before while being its own thing. Sherman is my favorite modern Batman artist now.
October 8, 2025 at 6:32 PM
@danpgwatters.bsky.social and Di Giandomenico tell a hilariously dark spin on the Death of Superman that’s so much fun and just a little revolting. Had no idea what to expect heading into this one but I enjoyed the hell out of it!
October 8, 2025 at 6:28 PM
@christophcondon.bsky.social, Daniel Noah, and @davechisholmcomics.com really take you into the zeitgeist of abduction stories. You’ve got that Condon Dialogue™️, a great story, and brilliant art—in page design and color. Really enjoyed this take on abductions, and the descriptions are gorgeous
