Not sure why anyone wants "historical accuracy" from an adaptation of a comedy story featuring monsters and gods and dick jokes.

I got about eight pages in.

One of my all-time favourites. Every time I've re-read it, I've thought "Probably won't be as good as I remember" but it has been three times.

The same footage could easily be edited into something much more creepy and disturbing... but intentionally so!

If I ever wrote a "My Science Fiction Landscape" post, it would have a chunk on this topic, and me coming to terms that what I care about reading and reviewing isn't represented at conventions (again, just looking from the outside).
