I couldn’t stand the conversation before Ange arrives (51 mins in if anyone is interested) all of them provided zero insight. Roy saying that the club didn’t stick by the manager through a sticky patch… we’re 5 points from the drop, this is no sticky patch!

Also, we have an enormous injury crisis, why aren’t we seeing Byfield, Williams-Barnett, Olusesi and so on for significant minutes? They certainly would show more fight than our current ‘senior’ players

Surely any fan who still thinks Frank is doing a good job and should be kept around is actually a disguised Arsenal fan. The narrative that Spurs won’t get relegated, as said during the broadcast, is insanity. Very very concerning

Even then, I remember it feeling like we were only ‘in’ for Gallagher once Villa made their move. It came across as reactive rather than the result of any long term plan to sign him.

Although we’ve clearly been better overall, and to finish top 4 at this stage is an achievement. But I don’t think the performances themselves have been significantly better. Yesterday we were still not playing good football, after going 1 up especially. I’m pleased for them, but doesn’t change much

Spot on. We won’t win any of the next 4, at least, it’s not crazy to think we may be in the relegation zone by March. They need to act, now.

Why the indecision? As you say, there’s no argument he’s doing what he was brought in to do. There’s no credible case for him remaining as head coach. Is there an issue with the influx of new faces on the board leading to paralysis, leaving the club unable to make a decisive call?

I agree. But I do not accept that this squad is 5/6th worst in the league. It’s some awful combination of poor recruitment, poor player sales, poor management, poor ownership, poor front office management. But I think it’s clear, Frank is not the guy to oversee this

Completely agree. Boringly mid-table is probably our limit at this point. But we can’t be losing to teams like West Ham, unacceptable. I’m surprised/disappointed Frank hasn’t been sacked already

I’m not comparing with last season really. But if you look at the squads of all 20 teams, Spurs’ isn’t the 5th worst in the league. They’re certainly not the 5th best either. Frank is underperforming, the players are underperforming and the club is underperforming. All a complete mess.

Many of them aren’t good enough for where we want to be (I’d genuinely be fine with 20 players being moved on if that were at all possible 😂). But they aren’t 14th/15th place bad. Top 10 minimum and even that’s a painfully low bar.
