How, in this era, is the latest Apple rumor “they’re going to move the port” not “new Magic Mouse will feature wireless charging” or something?

I mean, they could sell a Magic Mousepad that charges it too.

Apple Shortcuts are way more useful than they get credit for. Some that I have… 🧵👇

Building modern AI stuff is really fun — a lot of the time, it “just works” and is magical. Lets you move fast.

…Then you try the exact same prompt an hour later and the model decides it now knows nothing.

Does Apple Music use decibel data to shape its music recommendation models? They've offered that "ear protection" feature for years now…

Command strips are the biggest gimmick. They are expensive and promise convenience, but they barely work.

So, you’re telling me that Bluesky’s app and protocol are open source, and it has a free public API? 😵‍💫🤤

I bet something like WebLLM becomes a standardized web API soonish.

Chips are already getting really good at local inference.

Hey @bsky.app, you should show “Related Posts” underneath replies in a thread.

Maybe with cards in a horizontal scroll or something. Just the results of a search with some keywords from the post. That would keep me rabbit holing for a long time…

Perplexity confuses me. What does it do that Google, Bing, or even just an LLM w/web search and reading tools can’t do for me for “free”?

Lots of people love it. So I’m missing something. But I couldn’t easily find an “about” page on perplexity.ai.

TypingMind is a pretty great LLM client.
