Hey Kaitlyn, this theory stuck out to me as well. I think many people believe their media use is passive, so a theory that explicitly states that it is intentional was an interesting perspective that I agree with. #UTcommtheory

Hey Caroline, I agree it is interesting to see how complex communication truly is. So many different factors play a role in how we communicate I also found it interesting diving deeper into these complexities. #UTcommtheory

Hey Bryan, I totally agree that the algorithm can ironically make my feed more boring. Sometimes I feel like I’m watching the same video over and over, as they all may pertain to the same topic. #UTcommtheory

I think this is a very prevalent example I have seen as well. It feels like ever other week a new AI software is being advertised, or businesses are announcing their new partnership with AI softwares. Plenty of online debates are sparked around AI as well, it is a very hot topic. #UTcommtheory

Hey Caroline, I’m a huge fan of Severance as well! I actually got a chance to meet Ben Stiller at an event and I asked him about Severance. I love all the hidden details and underlying meanings woven into the show, I think this is a great example! #UTcommtheory

Hey I can totally relate to having a parasocial relationship with athletes. Athletes can be easy to develop parasocial relationships with as they do good things for the teams your a fan of. #UTcommtheory

I’ve ran into this on social media before, it can get awkward when stuff intended for just your friends finds its way to family! #UTcommtheory

I have a similar experience with most social media platforms, I censor self by not posting and keeping accounts on private. #UTcommtheory

I can relate to this experience, nothing is worse than making a reference and no one getting it! #UTcommtheory

I agree, TikTok has shifted tons from where it started. The TikTok shop has really altered the apps experience and now like 30% of my feed may be ads some days. #UTcommtheory

Hey Caroline, I agree with this! Participation from everyone can be one of the most important things in making a decision, if not everyone makes their voice heard then the group may not do something as ideal. #UTcommtheory
