Look at the way they try to recover lost members - shouting them down, doxing, and harassing.

They can't talk about policy or values, because under Starmer they're allowed neither.

And no amount of bullying those who point to the rot will replace the heart of the Labour party's lifeless cadaver.
February 6, 2026 at 12:00 AM
True, but I'm not sure what point you're making.

We can debate if Labour would or would not have done any better without the sabotage from within, but the fact remains that polling shows is Starmer is utterly despised.
February 6, 2026 at 12:00 AM
Actually they got a higher vote share than Miliband did in 2015, Brown did in 2010. Despite active sabotage, as mentioned.

TBH I think 2020 will be eclipsed by the defeat Labour are headed for in the next GE.

People feel betrayed, Labour might not recover.

Have you heard of Project Cybersyn?
February 4, 2026 at 11:37 PM
It's increasingly binary. As such socialism will lose some of the stigma and also I think this is why centrism is screwed.

They don't have a position on this issue apart from to mumble something and change the subject, and their former patrons are now funnelling dark money into fascism instead.
February 4, 2026 at 11:35 PM
This is why I view this next GE as between Greens and Reform.

Why are you working all the time and still broke? Why is the social contract broken? Is it gypsies getting free Lamborghinis from the taxpayer? Or is corporate lobbying and multinationals not paying their taxes?
February 4, 2026 at 11:35 PM
It's obviously not an argument that stands up to serious scrutiny, but I think you're right that socialism is in some quarters considered "toxic" on that basis.

But I think that narrative is weakening again with the cost of living crisis and the tremendous inequality in society.
February 4, 2026 at 11:35 PM
Regarding what you call the limited appeal of socialism, I think there has clearly been a somewhat successful attempt on both sides of the Atlantic to equate socialism with communism and communism with authoritarianism.
February 4, 2026 at 11:35 PM
I think that's 2 separate conversations.

2017 was the best Labour result in a very long time, but the party was still dealing with active sabotage from within. It's surprising Labour did as well as it did under those conditions.
February 4, 2026 at 11:35 PM
You said Zack Polanski was lying, but couldn't substantiate it.

You insisted Starmer doesn't break pledges, but there's endless examples of broken promises.

You can pretend you have all the facts on your side, but we all know that's BS.

I'm muting you now. So prattle on all you like.
February 3, 2026 at 10:28 PM
You wanted to know why people left the Labour Party in droves to join the Greens.

It's because they got sick of dealing with people who think they can gaslight and bully people into compliance.

You vote Labour if you want. I'll vote Green.

Otherwise kindly fuck off, you sanctimonious prick.
February 3, 2026 at 10:26 PM
I don't know what you're referring to, but Corbyn would probably be PM right now if he had kicked out the saboteurs.

Instead they took over the party and turned it into the tragic Reform tribute act it is now.

Did you actually watch the video? Forde is describing the abuse Abbott and others suffered at the hands of right of the party.

You can gaslight all you want, but if you want to know why people left and are leaving Labour in droves for the Greens, this is why.
February 3, 2026 at 10:15 PM
Labour says it has implemented 154 of them.

Forde says he doesn't know because they won't speak to him since the report was released, and that the party lawyers have been threatening him for talking out about it.

Yeah the broad church approach doesn't really work well if there's people like these on the inside deliberately trying to sabotage the party.
February 3, 2026 at 10:08 PM
Let me see, there's the leaked Labour Party report, and the Forde Report into it.

And there's been whole books written about the authoritarian way the party is run since McSweeneys coup.

So, where's this evidence of abuse from "corbynites" you're describing?

That's objectively untrue, and flies in the face of the very report the NEC commissioned into the incident.

Starmer even sicced the party lawyers on the person they appointed to try to shut him up when the report didn't go his way.

How are you not aware of this?!

That's my point.

You ARE allowed to abuse party members if those members are not Zionists or are people Starmer doesn't like.
February 3, 2026 at 10:34 AM
Because unlike Starmer, who purged anyone who he considered a threat, Corbyn went (in my opinion) too far the other way and was too tolerant.

He said publicly he was working "night and day" to bring down the leader of the party.

He was advising bankers on how to threaten his own Government.

And he was feeding government documents to a convicted child rapist and foreign intelligence asset.

Well he took money from someone whose own dodgy business dealings he was supposed to be investigating, which of course he didn't declare.

He was embroiled in the cash for passports scandal.
February 3, 2026 at 10:22 AM
You know who WASN'T kicked out?

- The people discussing their hope that a disabled child who canvassed for Labour died in a house fire
- Those briefing the press against Abbott after leaving her crying in the toilets.
- Peter "Prince of Darkness" Mandelson.

Why do you think that was?
February 3, 2026 at 4:46 AM
Starmers faction were bragging in leaked correspondence about going "trot hunting".

People were kicked out for liking tweets by the Greens, voting against the 2 child cap, record numbers of Jews the EC decreed antisemitic, lifelong anti-racism campaigners like Corbyn, cultural icons like Loach.
