I wonder if you can kind of trace where the first movie took place on this map, and if so, where the two movies intersect. That would be a fun thing to speculate about.

I will say that everything we've seen of the film is about what I'd expect, even if I'd make a few personal changes. Overall it looks like it'll be a good or okay movie at worst imo.

I just hope the aesthetic is maintained, and since Gans pretty much exactly translated the games aesthetic in the first movie, I feel confident in that regard. I also hope the atmosphere is good too, and again I'd argue Gans did well in the first movie in that regard, so.

I remember at some point talking about how Bloober was mostly interested in doing a Silent Hill 2 Remake, so I'm curious how they'll handle 1's atmosphere and story beats since it's arguable the first game was less invested in the psychological aspect than 2 was. Still, I am super excited either way
