Prof. Cox Richardson’s piece today lays out nicely the imbalance that exists whereby the Republicans set the terms of the debate. Like Hunter is above the law because his father pardoned him. As if Trump’s six-plus pardons of close family members and loyalists are any different? Time for a change.

The very last people to criticize Biden’s pardon of his son are Trump and the Republicans in Congress, and all the people who support these hypocrites.

If you need a break from present day reality, check out “1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything.” That was one incredible year in America and in the world. You’ll see clear similarities to the present. While much has changed in America, too much remains the same.

For those of us who are still smarting from the election, it’s both, IMHO, a time for sober reflection AND to stay involved and to continue to pay attention to what’s going on now. This is not a time to check out. The threat to our democracy is more real than ever.
