yeeeah sooo trueee kian!! like you can’t change people who don’t want to grow with you and that’s okay even if it sometimes is a hard pill to swallow, but what you can do is put the energy there where it’s mutual and cultivate those relationships insteed and that is okay

a friendship shouldn't give me anxiety i say more as a reminder to myself

and that kinda really hit home in a way that i have felt over the last years about the friendships i have felt a bit bad about because it didn’t feel like the energy i put it was appreciated or reciprocrated in an equal way (and i don’t mean like being busy with life and still understanding)

she doesn't think they are bad ppl or anything and don’t mean bad but they are bad friends to her and she can’t keep carrying so much of the friendship in that way
