Vtip je v tom, že banky berou úrok na vkladech trochu jako reklamu na přilákání nových klientů a konkurence je nedonutila dávat velké úroky i na obrovské vklady. V reálné hodnotě banky vlastně berou celou inflaci od zákazníků organizací, cena za to, že se ty peníze mohou rychle použít.

V USA mají velké firmy jako Google hotovost ohromnou a byly by to velké ztráty, a tak se o zhodnocení starají, ale banky jim ok úrok prostě také nedají, a tak musejí mít ty firmy někoho, kdo kupuje konkrétní dluhopisy a podobné instrumenty.

I assure you that as a Czechoslovak kid, I could and I did travel to the Soviet Union although some document was needed, mostly formality. Even inside the communist bloc, the traveling was much more difficult than after communism fell
