One of their "10 commandments" is "Thou shalt not outsource your creativity" so that seems really... counterintuitive.

Which aligns with my personal view that a lot of who gets hit in those broad "reductions in force" is down to coin flips more than anything else.

Industry is def part of it. The other is plain ol' luck. The company I've been at for a while now has had multiple rounds of layoffs and I somehow dodged them all. I don't think I was doing anything ultra extraordinary when they happened, so it's gotta be luck.

This was the one thing I wanted answered. I'm disappointed it's not as in-depth as Arceus, but we'll see if it gives me the same good brain chemicals.
