The biggest factor here is I live right at the snow line. It can be snowing here but raining (downhill) at the mall. Or snowing at the hospital (uphill) but raining here. And of course there's temperature considerations of walking vs driving. It's all very complicated lol

Despite living in the mountains in Canada, the weather here can turn on a dime, so I subscribe to the 'Choose Your Own Adventure' system of coats: a variety of sweaters, hoodies, vests, and windbreakers that can be layered to construct the appropriate coat as needed.

Just a warning.

Ugh, pigeons. Same neighbour that complained about the crows now complains about being overrun by pigeons *which the crows were keeping away!* 🤦‍♀️

Sometimes he does sit on the roof across the way and just stare at me through my window, so he's got that going for him at least.

Nope, didn't say anything. Despite my best efforts, has still not learned to talk.

City bylaw not to feed wildlife, and neighbour complained.

They just recognize me and know that I never yell at them or shoo them away.

(I did give them peanuts for a few weeks 5 years ago, so I guess word spread then that I was ok, but they didn't even get mad when I had to stop.)

I've had a Kivik from Ikea for about 8 years and it's still comfy enough I sleep on it most of the time. IDK how cat resistant it is, but the entire cover is replaceable.

I suspect she may be thinking that the tide is turning against him enough that not having his endorsement would be a good thing for her now.

There were rumors she was considering either Senate or Governor. With her comments about Congress, I'm predicting she'll try for Governor.

This is the most 'mirror, mirror on the wall...' thing I have ever seen.

But did it have enough tartar sauce? 🤔

We have SO MANY great local restaurants. We also have really restrictive drive-thru bylaws to protect them from chains. There's only one drive-thru in town (an A&W) and I think it was grandfathered in.

Depends how uncooperative my sports bra is acting and how many times I get my hair tangled up in the straps.

Squash/carrot/red lentil and some other stuff. All ingredients are in the photo's alt text.

To make it I just dump whatever random quantity of each in a pot and cook until everything's soft, then hit it with the immersion blender.

I think the tell is in his first sentence: if he can't have tariffs he'll just end int'l trade entirely, or at least threaten to, until he gets what he wants.

On the plus side, you may have given me an idea for how to find the baby wild bunny that's running amok in my building's parking garage.

Now consider that those figures are based on him never making another cent in interest or investment income. At just 1% annual ROI he could spend almost six million a day and never have his net worth decrease.
