I decided to try this Ken tuxedo on the doll who will become Climax Together Atsushi, it fits perfectly so I can use Ken patterns to create his outfit. The hair still needs some styling, but the plan is to recreate Acchan's Climax Together stage outfit from 1992. I tried the outfit on him to see what I was working with, pattern wise. The only tailoring that would need to be done is the waistband and maybe the sleeve hems. I think it will look good on him with Scary Sweet Birthday Draculaura. For right now the waistband is pinned in place until I can sew it. And he's a smart guy so he better bring a gift for his girl!

This is the body, completely fixed. I didn't take pics of replacing the forearms since that is too simple of a repair and replacement arms are easy to find. I should point out the legs I found on eBay did include gold elastic, but I could not use it because it was too short. As of this posting, I am still working on Frankie's hair and awaiting delivery of their boots. I will look for their remaining accessories in the future. This is just a simple elastic replacement on Dawn Of The Dance Clawdeen, but I thought I would post it here anyway. I don't have her original outfit, but I plan on making my own design for her. And Clawdeen is fixed! I love the green hair on her and I wish Mattel's designers would use the purple and lime green color combination on her G3 counterpart! It would be an awesome contrast with Toralei's red and orange tones! Just my opinion!

The hip joint openings in the torso. The goal was to add a hole through this part for the elastic to connect the replacement legs. I ultimately decided on making two slots with a heated knife. I did the initial slots, then heated the knife again under a candle flame to re-insert the blade and gently wiggle to slightly widen the slots. Using fine wire as a needle and "catcher", I threaded the elastic through the inner leg rods and the torso slots. It is not easy running the elastic through the legs, any advice for doing this is more than welcome, because I KNOW I'll be having to do this again! Finally done! I then tied the elastic as tightly as I could and cut off the excess. The double leg transplant was a success!

This is the doll as I purchased them. It was still a good deal since they had their original clothing and earrings. The knee joint was broken and lower leg was missing, so this proved to be a challenge... The surviving leg after removal. I would like to transform it into a Monster High version of the iconic Leg Lamp from A Christmas Story. Post leg removal. I also did a test fitting of a knockoff MH limb on the arm. It does fit once the socket is slightly widened. I used my dad's old awl to make it happen. It might have been much easier to simply re-body Frankie, but it was important to me that I preserve the torso. The original earrings were a dull silver, so I decided to make them pop with a coating of chrome paint.

I'm trying something different with the glue seepage problem on older dolls, it involves removing the heads and squirting some Cif on the inside. Small clumps of glue are coming out now. This might make a huge difference. 🤞🏻

I had to permanently attach her ears, and ultimately also permanently attach the wig to her head. The barrette style of fastening on the ears was not working, so it went back to the original plan.
