Certainly! Cuff is picked up and knit at one end and the toe is done at the other. Measure the foot up from the start of the toe and pick up stitches as for an afterthought heel. I’ve used previously made vanilla socks to accurately measure my preferred foot length to know where the heel goes.

It’s spooky month! To celebrate, I added a patch I’ve been holding onto for 3yrs from @identitypollution.bsky.social onto this thrifted shirt.

Lily of the (Saturn) Valley 🪐🌱 #EarthBound

Each Mr. Saturn is a round whitish tan little creature with a large round nose and little round eyebrows. They each have a green stem on the top of their heads that attaches them to the plant instead of their usual black antenna, and little red leaves swirl around the stems and tie into little red bows. The lowest Mr Saturn has detached from the rest of the plant fully formed and is jumping down to a nearby leaf.

That little polwarth spin turned into a Crossfade by A L Leong. It’s my first full project made with my handspun and I’m so glad with how it came out #handspinning #knitting 🧶

Pattern is Crossfade by A L Leong out of the PomPom Autumn 2020 issue. Slight mods were done to begin decreases earlier so to not run out of yarn. 3.5mm, 109g, approx 480yd.
Yarn: handspun polwarth spun from a braid from Valkyrie Fibers in the colors yellow, peach, and pink
