It’s nice to have BlueSky as an outlet for that especially since my family + social circle in the real world are anti-wrestling. All that in mind, anyone is free to block me if they don’t like my content.

AEW? Different story…especially since the bad faith takes are EVERYWHERE. As mentioned in my first post, I don’t waste time getting into fruitless e-arguments anymore. Instead, I screencap, post it here on my wall for a good laugh, and move on with my day.

I can easily waive off criticism in my other fandoms which I am only a casual participant in. For example, I loved Deadpool + Wolverine. Oh, you hated it and think the first Deadpool is still peak? Great. I don’t even care enough to engage you.

If you engage it on toxic platforms like X, it *always* results in an unproductive back-and-forth that is designed to waste your time, which is what the trolls want.

Absolutely. Even though I may have disagreed with certain aspects, I did not block any AEW fans who expressed frustrations over the ending to Full Gear. I know those are genuine takes from people who consume the product.

No. That was WrestleDream (2024). There were some minor shenanigans from Marina but in the end, Mox beat Danielson in clean fashion and put him out with the plastic bag. It ended up being the cleanest title win he had as a heel.

This app is very active for wrestling discussions. There’s always something happening and it’s just the right amount. Not as much going on for other fandoms here but that’s what Reddit, YouTube and Discord are for. And oh hey! I know you from X!

P.S. I did think about interjecting myself into that conversation but then I realized I would be attempting to “debate” a WWE Troll whose entire mindset is predicated on “WWE good, AEW bad because money.” It wouldn’t be very productive.
