I know it's cool and metal and all, but setting your bandcamp page to this color scheme makes it really fucking hard to read. And my vision isn't even all that bad.

This week had me exploring some classic Louisiana swamp blues. Lightnin' Slim was amazing. Lazy Lester was really good. Slim Harpo wasn't as much my thing, but hearing the original "Rainin' In My Heart," a song I grew up on, was so great.

It doesn't often feel like it, but it is fall, which is a great time to listen to all of the Cure's albums. "The Top" is pretty forgettable, and it turns out we were all right about "Wild Mood Swings" being awful when it came out. Otherwise they're simply perfect.
