Indeed, acrylic isn’t the best fiber for blocking, but I still find it gets a little better after washing according to the manufacturer’s instructions. However, I really think your work is beautiful and any minor irregularities such show it’s handmade 🤷♀️

So gorgeous! I don’t see major tension issues. Blocking will take care of any minor issues 🙂

Sizing up should work! I would advise making a swatch a couple of swatches using the indicated needle size, as well as one or two needle sizes above the indicated for the rib section, starting with the rib and adding a few rows of stockinette stitch to see how the rib/stockinette combo works.
