Ended up somewhat iterating on a similar topic elsewhere but was mostly thinking about this guy I knew who seemed to have his life ruined by Adele’s popularity during the height of Hello when I posted this.

He had so much anger about it and seemed to mourn the death of culture daily at the QT.

I always feel bad for people who get hung up on popular things to a point of getting angry about them. I have always found that if it’s not for me and I mostly ignore whatever, it just passes. Meanwhile these people take psychic damage from hearing a song they don’t like in a gas station etc.
