He finally left his sick bed and slept snuggled with us last night. A lot more alert and he doesn’t seem confused anymore. His “good” eye is responding to the meds v well too so I’m pretty sure it’s saved.

Next time we go to war, I hope our battle cry is "FOR THE SHAREHOLDERS!"

Glad the article touched on Healthcare. The US only spends such absurd amounts because we, for some reason, find it okay to have to include for-profit shareholders in our system. A very expensive annoyance. Entire job sectors created for billing patients

Facebook will have shit like "these students spend time after school helping the homeless :)" and the comments will just be "I AM A NAZI! I HATE ANYONE NOT WHITE! I HOPE THESE CHILDREN BURN IN HELL FOREVER!" and get more likes than the post

We literally have 18 yr olds joining the military, willing to fight and die, for less. 50k? Get a bank loan, reverse mortgage, and start bribing the highest forms of government. Mfs running around in the highest circles of society apparently saving up to buy a house. Only 400k more to go!

Is it really that hard to have not so controversial people in such high positions of power to begin with? Over 300 million in the US and the best we can get are people willing to take a meager 50k bribe? Not even a couple million? Is he poor like the majority of people? How??

The nationwide walk out was Friday, and the high-school students brought some band instruments during the "protest". People were more upset the students might damge what is maybe school property than what is happening in Minnesota, instruments>human lives, I fucking guess

So yes, it would be smart to do business with a neighbor who has a way stronger economy than their own when their own current economy is almost completely tanked... for some reason.

You'd be a fool to not want to do business with an immediate neighbor that had the economic wealth supported by billions from the US. At the same time, leftists in US can not want Israel to attack Palestinians, and voice that through boycotting. These things can be mutually exclusive.

Easy example are conservative lgbtq people; they get ostracized for their beliefs and then double down saying "so much for the tolerant left"
